FAQ

Frequently asked questions

From what age can a child study abroad?

It depends on the school and programme. Most high schools admit from 15 to 16, some boarding schools earlier. At the consultation we'll tell you what fits your child's age and year.

How much does it all cost?

Costs vary by country, school type and length of study, roughly from about €7,000 for a single term to €25,000 and more for a full year at a private boarding school. We'll confirm exact, current figures at the consultation.

Does my child need a visa?

For study under six months in the UK, usually not. For longer study and for the USA or Canada, yes. We'll help with visas and guide you through the whole process.

How good does my child's English need to be?

It doesn't have to be perfect. We prepare them for language exams (such as Cambridge) and everyday communication.

What if something goes wrong during the stay?

You're not on your own. We stay in touch during the study and help sort out whatever comes up.

How does the first consultation work?

No commitment, no pressure. We get to know the child, their goals and your wishes, and tell you the realistic options.
